Are you feeling tired all the time? Do you have brain fog, chronic pain, or feel stressed even at calm times? Do have difficulties losing weight, have dry skin and hair, cannot get pregnant, and/or just feel generally unhealthy? Do you go into your doctor’s office to see what is going on with you, but you don’t get the answers you are looking for?
Patients will often hear that their lab work and tests look normal. Does this mean the symptoms they feel are all in their head? If this is the case, why do they feel the way they do? Patients may have test results that are considered to be within a “normal range,” and doctors may assume everything is fine.
At Open Heart Chiropractic, we will discuss stressors and other factors, and evaluate your health to see what could be causing your health concerns. This way we can address a concern before it becomes a major issue.
What to expect during your appointment
During your appointment, Dr. Amanda Smith will be utilizing a technique known as ‘Manual Muscle Testing’ to help determine where in the body issues are likely stemming from and what your options are for addressing them.
Dr. Smith will review the potential exposures to different toxins and chemicals in your daily life and environment, which all play a role in your health. She will also talk with you about what your diet (the food you intake daily) is like, to see if any adjustments to your nutrition would be beneficial. This can be done through adjusting your daily meals as well as through supplementation.
She will also follow up with muscle testing to see what supplements or nutrition your body responds positively and negatively too. This helps figure out what nutrients your body might be missing, what could help you heal, or what would be the most beneficial to you so your body can function better.
Other Information and Testing
Blood lab tests can also give valuable information that can help put together the pieces of your health puzzle. If you have any recent tests, please bring in a copy or have your clinic forward the results to Open Heart Chiropractic. If you are interested in third party blood testing, please let us know so we can give you the information. This can sometimes be less expensive than your local clinic, especially if blood testing is not covered by your insurance.
